Written sometime late 2015 / early 2016 before I left Phoenix. Searching for consolation after the unexpected end to a relationship that really spun me out for a few years. Ended up feeling like I needed to create my own consolation and sense of hope, since I wasn't finding any.
Written during a low time in my life.
